SPA BOARD MEETING MINUTES
October 14th, 2008
Constitution Vote

 

Present:

Michael Brandt, Brenda Bray, Andrew Harbison, Rebecca Hille (Guest WA BOP Chair), Brandy Singer, Michelle Sodorff, Colleen Terriff, Marguerite Villars, and Miriam Wilson

Absent:

Bill Fassett, Ehren Wainwright, and Jason Wicklund

 

Proposed Amendments to SPA Constitution and By-Laws

  • Amendments were briefly overviewed by Brenda Bray
  • Discussion
    • Article VIII of By-Laws – question of whether we could post a copy electronically or would we have to mail out
      • Refer to Article VII of constitution – Every amendment will be provided to members (used to have to mail out)
    • Do we have to wait for people to vote?
      • Need at least 2/3 approval of those eligible members voting
  • Vote
    • Michelle Sodorff moved to accept the amendments to SPA Constitution and By-Laws and Collen Terriff seconded the motion
    • The motion was carried unanimously by the eligible members voting

 

Next Board Meeting is scheduled for November 11th, 2008.
